    I am an artist and was just curious as to what this would be like as many I speak to want to paint, but don’t want to “learn” how to paint. This product is good quality and would be great for someone to do who has lots of time and a place to put it while working on it. Not a “do in a day” painting… will take a very long time which is great for many people as they will have something fun to do. My only suggestion would be to go and get some higher quality brushes. Would recommend buying this product. Fun for anyone with good eyes or good glasses! LOL (Little numbers to find on canvas). Leslie

    This is my first try at ‘adult’ painting by numbers, and I was pleased with the quality of the canvas sent to me. Some of the areas are so tiny, and the numbers hard to read, that a magnifying glass is necessary, but I am working away on this, slowly. I took the tip of photographing the canvas, in sections, so that I could zoom in to read the paint numbers — and what works even better is to put those photos on my laptop and have that by my side as I paint.

    The picture looks great! Only issues I had were the brushes weren’t small enough to get to the thin hair lines without extreme concentration so I recommend buying your own. I also didn’t think the dress color they sent (pale brown) was correct so I bought pink myself. Took me almost 2 hours per color on most of them

    Although I have had some experience with freehand water color and acrylic paintings, this was my first paint-by-numbers project. It was pretty easy but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I deducted one star because the brushes that came with it were of very poor quality that I had to buy a better set of brushes from the at supply store near my house.

    I spent many days tinkering with this painting and painted up through color #10. Once I got nearly all of the blue background painted, along with the complementary blues in the background, I realized that the colors in this painting wouldn’t look at all like the original. Not only that, the colors I am using don’t look good next to each other on the painting. If I spent the remaining time on this to paint the whole painting, I would not be satisfied with the end result and would NEVER want to display it. Very disappointing. Also, many of the numbers and lines show through the paint (and I was making it thicker there too). Just not anything I would ever frame or display. I took a great deal of time and detail to paint this up through paint color #10 and am really upset that I wasted that time. Also, I purchased 3 other paintings and I don’t even want to try them because they are probably the same – the colors won’t look like the picture, the number will show through the paint, and the colors I end up with won’t even complement each other or look like they were meant to go together.

Having said that, the quality of the product was very good and although I had some dry paint on another order, the paint quality for this was excellent. This painting is very detailed so Be prepared for a small brush and glasses. I am very pleased with the end product.

    I ordered two paint-by-numbers on the same day; one arrived three weeks before the other. The plastic canvas was rolled up, which was unexpected. However, it was easy to paint once mounted to a large piece of card board. I liked that there was no color mixing, but some of the colors seem to be running low, before half the painting is finished.

    First of all, I am very happy I purchased this paint by numbers picture. The canvas was amazing to paint on, the numbers were easy to read and the colors are wonderful. It is beautiful hanging on my wall. From across the room, you can’t tell it’s a paint by numbers picture. That’s being said, I received no instructions with my set. I did receive a very small picture of what i ordered. I used my own brushes because the three that came with it weren’t so great. I also had to go back and paint beyond the borders for it to fill out the 16” x 20” frame I found to put it in. I do think it was a fair value compared to other paint by numbers sets. Also it took almost two weeks to receive it.

    This painting was my first by numbers to tackle. It’s a beautiful painting, but I was thrown a bit by the colors as the actual paint that came with this painting is pretty far off from the photo in some areas. It ultimately doesn’t matter because the end result is gorgeous, but I do wish the background colors had matched the picture more closely. Great experience and one that I will continue to enjoy with more paintings!

    Actually created using the numbers then refined it for more ‘blend’! Buy it! Very relaxing to work on!

    I have just started, love the activity. It is very calming. Some of the numbers are a bit hard for me to read and no instructions came with it? I will have more to say when I finish my painting. Which will be my first ever. I may have been a little niave with my ability. But that’s on me. Looking forward to the finished product.

    Loved painting the monkey with headphones. Took me about 2 hours a day for 5 days to paint it. I found some of the colours were not the same as the photo and some of the numbers on the painting were not very visible but still lots of fun!

    Once I started it was hard to stop. My only comment is some of the numbers are pretty tiny. I’m not quite finished but it is lots of fun to see the picture come together.
    Highly recommend. I just read some of the other reveiws and will buy better brushes and take a photo to better read the numbers.

    Was not as enjoyable as doing my other paintings i have completed. This could be because this is my first painting that has come from a being a photo rather than a replica of someone’s actual painting.
    Up close the colour is a bit meh, but at a distance it looks great.
